Gin & Tonic

Simple and refreshing drink. Yet very delicious. Well recommended.

Myself I use Beefeater Gin & Schweppes Indian Tonic but it's all about taste.

Sherlock Holmes

Today Rebecca and I watched Sherlock Holmes at the cinema.

It was a surprisingly good movie! Well recommended. Splendid acting by Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law.

Earlier today I went to the school, and then went to meet Tommy at the Krämaren mall. We ate some food at Subway and then went to the library to finish our studies for today.

Overall a good day, I must say.

I'm now relaxing by the computer with a Rusty Nail.  Cheers!

An Epic and very simple drink. A Rusty Nail!

IBA Official Cocktail
Type	Cocktail
Primary alcohol by volume	Scotch whisky
Served	On the rocks; poured over ice
Standard drinkware	"old-fashioned" glass, stemmed glass "martini-style"
IBA specified ingredients†	4.5 cl (9 parts) Scotch whisky 2.5 cl (5 parts) Drambuie
Preparation	First fill a 16 oz glass with crushed ice until it is overflowing. Pour in 5 parts drambuie and 9 parts scotch. Stir gently, as to not bruise the ice. Keep stirring until a thick frost develops on the side of the glass. Garnish with a lemon twist. Serve.

A Rusty Nail is made by mixing Drambuie and Scotch. Many prefer less Drambuie to decrease the sweetness of the drink. Scotch has a fairly biting and hot taste that is counterbalanced by the honeyed, herbal overtones of the Drambuie. A Rusty Nail can be served in an old-fashioned glass on the rocks, neat, or "up" in a stemmed glass. It is most commonly served over ice. A Rusty Nail served without ice is sometimes called a Straight Up Nail.

Epic NOFX

Some punk rock bands sadly get worse by age.

Bad Religion's Best Before Date passed already back in '96. Pennywise will probably now disband with lead singer Jim Lindberg leaving the band. No Use For A Name are still good had their peak around 97-00 with their releases of the awesome albums Making Friends and More Betterness.

But one band is an exception: NOFX still kicks ass.

I would even claim that they've gotten better by age.  Just like a good old whisky.

Longing for Kebab

You can see it in his face. He has just decided what to eat.
And now he's just sitting there... staring.... waiting.

Even though he looks very serious, it's just because he's almost in shock of excitement. Soon his kebab meal will arrive, and he knows it. He's longing for it, and he just can't stand waiting for it. So he is focusing on keeping all his feelings inside, trying to disconnect all his senses for the moment; almost imploding 'cause of his massive Kebab desire.

This hungry man is my friend Erik. It's quite a tradition for us to eat Kebab together at least once a week, and I love it.

Atoms

Ok, studies are quite fun sometimes. At least at times when you realize you actually learn something.

Today Tommy and I studied about atoms. Yeah, kinda boring school task but anyway. Subjects like these always get more interesting when being able to share the boredom together over a cup of coffee (or I mean, at least two gallons of coffee).

Well, I realized I never actually learnt in theory about atoms. Today I finally learnt.... after 25 years.

Oh God, Oh Man, Oh Epic!

The excellent American actor Ryan O'Neal will always be remembered for his splendid role in Tough Guys Don't Dance from 1987. The astonishing drama is written by the renowned film director Normal Mailer. Tough Guys Don't Dance became a huge success at its release and won several Golden Raspberry Awards.

This is my favorite part from the movie. I get goosebumps everytime I watch it.

What's this all about? I've no idea.
